Thank you for your support as we build a tool “by nurses, for nurses.”
Sorxi is a first of its kind virtual assistant, built by nurses for nurses, to quickly source and cite answers you can trust.
Explore specialty specific standards of practice, state and federal regulations, disease and medication resources and more.
Traditional databases are clunky and time-consuming. Generic AI tools tend to guess. Sorxi offers a better way — with clear citations, advanced safeguards, and full transparency when the evidence just isn’t there. It’s not just smarter. It’s safer, because it’s built by people who understand what’s at stake.
We built Sorxi to break down knowledge barriers by combining the power of community with advanced technology.
Sorxi replicates the experience of sharing knowledge with others. Instant feedback and "escalation" buttons empower each user to surface questions to our experts for review and improvement.
Sorxi pulls exclusively from a trusted set of sources — including Drugs@FDA, NIH’s DailyMed, state scope of practice laws, professional guidelines and more — ensuring every answer is grounded in reliable, evidence-based information.
Sorxi uses custom AI technology and advanced safeguards, built to surface accurate, source-rich answers you can trust — and to clearly signal when it doesn't have enough information to answer.

Sorxi is a first of its kind virtual assistant built by nurses, for nurses. It delivers fast, trustworthy, and fully cited answers to clinical questions — all sourced from expert-reviewed content.
Created by a practicing nurse, Sorxi learns from every question asked, getting smarter with time and shaped by the nursing community that uses it.
We curate knowledge from trusted sources – the inspiration for our namesake “source-y” – which our technology uses to answer your questions.
Simply type in your question and Sorxi will either provide an answer, with explicit references. Or, if it’s not confident the answer is accurate, it will tell you.
Each answer has feedback buttons you can use to rate the quality of response, and an “escalate” button that signals to our educators a question couldn’t be answered – and should be researched.
This means that Sorxi is constantly improving with every question you ask.
A combination of advanced technologies, and human oversight – “Sorxi Safe” ensures each question you ask is answered with the following principles in mind:
Ask any questions related to the practice of nursing – including disease state, drug, speciality-specific standards, licensing and government requirements.
“Can a CNS prescribe drugs in NY?
“What are the best practice recommendations for compression?”
“Are there any drug interactions for pioglitazone?”
“Convert 20 gtt to mLs – explain your math”
Sorxi will only use approved resources, and answer your question with specific references. When it doesn’t know something, it will tell you!
Each answer has feedback (good / bad) buttons, and an ‘Escalate’ button that prompts our team of nurses to investigate how to make the answer better.
So, each question you ask makes Sorxi smarter for the next nurse – it’s part of what we mean by “built for nurses, by nurses”.
Yes, Sorxi is designed to support all areas of nursing – from academia, the bedside and to leadership.
That said, the resource pool used to answer questions might not have the precise information needed to answer yours.
Should that happen, we designed Sorxi to “escalate” unanswered questions to our team – so no question, within reason, goes unanswered in the future.
Put simply: Sorxi combines the latest AI innovations with human input to empower nurses with the answers they need.
It starts with knowledge – we only allow our technology to reference approved sources. This minimizes the chance that things are made up.
The technology utilized is trained and developed to say “I don’t know” if it’s unsure of the answer.
Each answer includes explicit references, and a section describing limitations of that answer – so you can investigate further.
Finally – every user, you included, can rate the answer for quality and “Escalate” the answer to our team of licensed nurses. This ensures that Sorxi continually improves – so each question is a “living and breathing” resource for the community.
Just like the most knowledgeable nurse preceptor you know, it isn’t possible for any resource – Sorxi included – to be perfect. This is meant to empower you to make better decisions, not replace your clinical expertise.
Three major differences exist between Sorxi and other ways of finding nursing knowledge:
Compared to Google, Sorxi will provide more precise answers to complex questions – without the need to dig through pages of results.
Other AI tools will answer most questions, but without the ability to ensure quality. This is due to “hallucination” – these tooks making up fake answers, and because they reference knowledge sourced months if not years ago.
While legacy tools like EBSCO certainly check the “trust” box, they are difficult to search, don’t incorporate live feedback, and do not extend behind their proprietary knowledge bases.
Sorxi’s knowledge base combines three primary layers of trusted information:
Our goal is to answer every question nurses ask, especially if it’s likely that question will be asked by other nurses.
These resources are constantly being updated, augmented and improved based on feedback from you!
Join the community and instantly explore a world of curated knowledge across all nursing disciplines.
